Riviera returns, Riviera remembered: Flickr photo of the day
With Buick revealing its latest version of the Riviera concept today in Shanghai, it's worth reminiscing about how stylish the early Rivieras remain. This 1967 model, pictured here courtesy of DVS1mn, epitomizes everything we once loved about the car - you know, before it got really big, then really bland, then finally - really ugly. Today's concept, however, proves Buick can still make exceptionally beautiful, stylish machines. Perhaps this stands as the first step in reviving the brand's "old man" image, as well as finally resurrecting the classic Riviera name. For now, we can only hope. But if you ask me, Shaq deserves it.
